Open Studio /Tucson Art And Design Center

BICAS Art Auction

The BICAS Art Auction is back! Join us for BICAS’s largest fundraising event of the year, this weekend-long celebration celebrates all things BICAS, bike art and our amazing community. The BICAS art auction has grown into a regular event of the Tucson art scene and auctions the works of hundreds of local artists who support their mission of bicycle transportation accessibility, accompanied by food, drinks and live entertainment. BICAS’ mission is supported by many of Tucson’s most prolific working artists through bicycle themed art donations, and will be held this year at Splinter Collective.

Winter Open Studio Tour!

A Winter Open Studio on Sunday, December 10th from 10-5pm with artist Kathryn Gastelum (Abstracts/Realism/Silk Scarves) along with two other artists, Judith Johnson (Plein Air landscapes) and Christina Spann (Abstract/Collage/Monoprints) will be participating at their own home studios.

Kathryn Gastelum will showcase her colorful, new, abstract oil /cold wax paintings (on canvas, cradled birch and on paper) in various sizes and prices. Also her beautiful hand-painted stone-washed silk scarves are one-of-a-kind! Light holiday refreshments will be served and parking is convenient.

Rae and Mahaffey in the Little Gallery at the DeGrazio Foundation

Exhibition of ceramics, painting and prints inspired by the Sonoran Desert.
Watercolor monotype demonstrations and open participation. We will have a small press at the gallery and will be making watercolor monotype. Visitors are invited to try it, but they should bring their own watercolors, brush, watercolor crayon or watercolor pencils.

Tiny Wonders Small Works Exhibition

Date: Up until December 10th, 2023

Time: Mon-Fri from 9:00am-9:00pm and Sat-Sun from 9:00am-5:00pm.

Mudroom Gallery presents their debut exhibition, Tiny Wonders, a small works community show. Tiny Wonders exhibit runs from Oct. 14 to Dec. 10 and has over 75 ceramic works under 4″x4″ by 38 local artists.

Mudroom Gallery at the Romero House Potters Studio, 102 W. Washington St., in the El Presidio Historic District. The gallery and studio are open Mon-Fri from 9-9 and Sat-Sun from 9-5.

A non-profit online marketplace featuring Arizona heritage based artists.This is an online group which occasionally has in person events.

What is Loom Market?
Loom.Market arose out of the pandemic, in response traditional artists who expressed a need for a virtual space to sell their artwork, expand their professional community, and access professional development opportunities. Designed by SFA, Loom is an onlineplatform where traditional artists can run their own virtual marketplaces and both accessand offer support to each other.
