Untitled

The œplanter part of the sculpture and the font that was created for it were inspired by the neighborhoods historical connection with the railroad. Since many of the residents worked for the railroad, it played a major role in the development of the neighborhood. The cacti elements were inspired by our desert environment.

Ozeri Metal Design, Untitled, 2012.

The sculpture acts as a planter with three elements that represent cacti. The planter design is derived from the cattle guard on the old steam trains, connecting the sculpture to the history of the neighborhood that is tied to the railroad as it arrived in Tucson.
