About the Process

My goal for the last few years has been to bring together painting, performance and video into a new art form that can communicate to viewers on many levels. The performance events I have been presenting for the last 8 years (described as “metaphysical vaudeville”) have the same goal as what I always had for my painting: to create an imaginative space where the viewer is enabled to experience thoughts and feelings which are not usually accessible in ordinary experience; with beauty, a poetic/magical atmosphere, and humor helping to give the viewer “permission” to experience a larger reality, perhaps a transcendent reality.
