My love of art began as a child with frequents visits to art museums in NYC. These experiences made me want to pursue an art career… alas, it was not to be. My path led me to the field of Early Childhood Special Education. When I moved to Tucson I spent many years preparing teachers in this field at the University of Arizona. Once retired, I embarked upon a second career as an artist, working in oils. My art tends to be small, focuses primarily on still life subjects, and I lose myself in the process. My work has been shown in group exhibitions in Arizona, and is hung in private residences and public spaces. My work is represented in Tucson by the Desert Artisans’ Gallery where I am a juried member.
