I have been working as a public artist and fabricator in Tucson, AZ since 2003. I cultivated myself as an artist within the nonprofit sector and built my experience working with schools, neighborhoods, non-profits, and municipalities to create works of art in and with the community. These relationships continue to help me navigate the different stakeholders and personalities that are inherently involved in the public art process. I also have experience working with teams of architects, structural engineers, contractors, project managers, and the general public.
As an artist, designer, and fabricator, I am involved with my work at every step of the process. I have a fabrication shop in Tucson with the equipment needed to complete large-scale structural builds.

Huckleberry Loop Recreational Trail, Tucson AZ
As path users enter the iconic sculpture, a display counts every cyclists and pedestrian that passes through the arch. This has become a landmark along the Huckelberry Loop Trail. The goal of the art project was to create shade to cover the barometer equipment. Inspiration from natural land formations.

Los Reales Landfill
Tucson, AZ
This project was created for the Los Reales Landfill using entirely recycled materials.
I wanted to create a monument to the municipal garbage system and also encourage dialogue about consumerism and disposability.
