Margaret Joplin, Kennedy Park Fiesta Area Gateway, 1996.

Meant to mimic the look of cut tissue paper, artist Margaret Joplin created a set of metal flags hung about an entry way to a portion of the park. The flags are painted a variety of vibrant colors and contain cutouts of icons such as music notes, flowers, stars, and moons.
