Oracle Blossom

The sculpture is an abstract depiction of a blossoming plant which with its glimmering petals and stamens symbolizes the birth of new life on Grant Road. For the Pascua Yaqui Tribe that has been rooted in this community for over a century, flowers evoke a spiritual world imbued with natural beauty. œOracle Blossom pays homage to the neighborhoods historical role as the northern gateway to Tucson. This artwork recalls the iconic neon signage that signified the new mobility of the 20th century which brought growth to the city.
