The Artists Epidemiology of District Two’s 2020 Experience

Holistic forms of dance, drumming, games, and songs were used to explain fears and feelings of vulnerability. Participants shared in-depth COVID experiences and expressed fear, medical and emotional concerns. Totem voices, an "Area of Remembrance" and a quilt characterized various habits, views, and safe spaces. Plant life like ocotillo and bamboo sustains the future, like how we empower ourselves and light the flames to get through the crisis and bring global healing energy to the world around us.
