The Heritage Mural

My approach to public art celebrates local history, culture, people, and nature. During this time of rebuilding, from the ashes of the Aspen Fire, this mural celebrates Mount Lemmon's rich heritage and wondrous surroundings while honoring the strength of unity shared by the community members. Like snapshots from a photo album, highly detailed photographic images depicting the history of the Mountain have been fired onto durable, long lasting ceramic tiles and formatted into a beautiful mural to grace the Community Center.
