Francisco J Landin Jr is a film director, writer, and producer known for his unique storytelling and directing, using style and fantasy to address issues such as poverty, abuse, and immigration in the Latin community. Born in Mexico City and raised in Tucson, Arizona, Francisco has written, and directed several award winning films with stories featuring diverse heroes that represent a multitude of ethnicities and genders. Currently, Landin continues to produce successful local short films and music videos for local artists of marginalized backgrounds, striving to help young voices break out and create their vision to ensure a more positive, diverse, and inclusive film community.

Filmed against the scenic backdrop of South Tucson, Arizona, ‘The Third Sun’ follows Adam, a man grappling with a troubled past while caring for his terminally ill mother. As Adam’s grip on reality slips, he becomes entangled in the ancient Aztec folklore of men and birds. This captivating, modern urban fairytale film, delves into themes of trauma, redemption, and the blurred lines between reality and myth.
