About The Multivrs Is Illuminated

Each year the Multivrs is Illuminated hosts a film festival, three-day music festival, and summer youth music program.

The 143rd Dimension is an annual multiday, immersive music and art festival centering BIPOC artists across genres and diasporas. This artist-run, social justice-oriented project has hosted four in-person and one digital festival since it began in 2017. Each year audiences of 300+ enjoy music and dance performances, film screenings, DJ sets, art exhibitions, diasporic food offerings, and community conversations. The events are always donation based.

TMII Film Festival encourages people who've never made a film to dive into the medium, in a space where they will be supported in finding their artistic voices. Filmmakers explore themes of diaspora, gender euphoria, racism in the workplace, and portals of self-expression.

This summer we expanded our programming to include a summer youth music program an intergenerational community space where campers access their voice and creativity in a supportive and fun environment.
